New Location for the 2024-2025 Season
Dear players,
As we gear up for the 2024-2025 badminton season, we want to share some important news regarding our practice arrangements.
This year, we faced difficulties in securing our usual gym at PacWay. Despite our best efforts in working with the school district, we were unable to book our regular space.
The silver lining is that we will be practicing at the newest gym in town, located at the brand-new Parkcrest School that just opened this September. This facility features 6 high-ceiling courts — an upgrade from the four we had at PacWay, giving us more room to play and train.
Starting Thursday, October 3, our practice sessions will be held on Tuesdays and Thursdays from 7 pm to 10 pm at Parkcrest Elementary School. While change can be challenging, we believe this new venue will provide a fantastic opportunity for growth and improved play.
We encourage all players to join us at Parkcrest and make the most of this season.
See you on the courts!

Kamloops Open Success & Last Week of Badminton Before Break!
Hi KBA members,
Exciting news! The Kamloops Open Tournament this year was a huge success, all thanks to your enthusiastic participation and sportsmanship!
The turnout exceeded our expectations, and the energy on the courts was truly electric. It was fantastic to see both of our club members and many out-of-town players competing, supporting one another, and embodying the true spirit of badminton. The passion and teamwork showcased at the tournament affirmed the vibrant community we’ve built together.
Reflecting on the triumph of Kam Open, we want to extend our gratitude to each one of you for contributing to the event’s success. Your dedication to the sport and the club is what makes our community so special.
Now, let’s keep the momentum going. Next week marks the final sessions before the Christmas break, and we want YOU to be there. Join us on the courts, enjoy the game, and foster the connections that make our club unique.
