The planned Kamloops Open on November 14th, 2020 has been cancelled as a precaution to the current covid situation in BC.
However, drop ins are still available during regular times on Tuesday 7:30pm – 9:30pm and Sundays 11:30am – 1:30pm at KCS.
Kamloops Open/Masters November 14, 2020 (Cancelled)
Come join the Kamloops Open/Masters tournament on November 14th at Kamloops Christian School!
Times will be from 9:00am to 6:00pm (Nov. 15 at 10am if necessary at KCS).
Categories will be Open, and 30+ with the following events:
MS/MD/WS/WD/XD
Cost for the events is $20 for the first, $10 for the second, and $10 for the third. All events will be using feather shuttles.
Payment will be accepted at the door or etransfer.
Everyone will win a door prize as well!

Badminton is starting again!
Badminton is back and will be playing at the Kamloops Christian School from:
- October 4th to December 15th, 2020.
- Sundays 11:30am – 1:30pm (Oct. 4, 11, 18, 25 / Nov. 1, 8, 15, 22, 29 / Dec. 6, 13)
- Tuesdays 7:30pm-9:30pm (Oct. 6, 13, 20, 27 / Nov. 3, 10, 17, 24 / Dec. 1, 8, 15)
Drop-in 6$ (those who had a KBA season membership at Pac Way from last Spring will get a refund towards this season – we will calculate it out or forward it to this season’s spring session. Don’t worry, we have not forgotten about it.) Feel free to invite your friends.
- As for COVID precautions, we ask that you self check and please do not come if you are feeling sick or have any symptoms.
We will need to fill out a membership form so everyone will be covered by our BadmintonBC insurance. I will bring them on Sunday Oct 4th session.

Therefore, in keeping with the Provincial Health Authorities’ recommendations, we will be shutdown until further notice.
