Hello everyone,

There is unfortunately no badminton today, Tuesday, January 6th, due to weather conditions.

We hope to resume on Thurs, so be sure to check the site for future updates.

Badminton starts Tuesday, January 6th again, so make sure to come at the regular time (8-10pm).

There are only four more days of badminton left until we go on Christmas break until January 6th. I encourage everyone to come out and participate in the remaining four days: November 30th, and December 2nd, 4th, and 7th.

If there is enough interest we will try to get times to play over the Christmas break! If you are at all interested, make sure to come out on these last few days of badminton and convey your interest.

For anyone that is interested, Kelowna Badminton Club is hosting a team tournament on Nov 29.

You sign-up ad an individual, and teams are created by the tournament directer.

Cost is $15/individual (which covers birds and pizza). It’ll be a great event for meeting players and having a fun social tournament.

No Badminton Today (Sunday, November 16), I’ll see everyone on Tues.

We’re still looking for more entrants to join in the Kamloops Open that will be held on the 15th and 16th of November.

Please use this link to register, and make a Badminton BC account if you don’t already have one.

If you are getting an error that says you don’t have a member ID, you can actually go into your profile settings on Badminton BC, and under Sport Details, you can fill in your Member ID with random letters like, “AAAAAAAAAAAA” and you should then be able to enter the tournament.

Please encourage more people to come and join the tourney, as we only have 11 entrants thus far.

There will be badminton this Sunday, November 2nd, at 7-9pm, but sadly no badminton this upcoming Thursday, October 30th.

Categories: Men’s and ladies singles and doubles, Mixed Doubles and Mix and match for those less competitive. (Organizers will put teams together.)

Cost is $35 for 1st event (t-shirt included), $20 for 2nd, $15 for 3rd, and $10 for the 4th event.
