The Pacific Way gym is unavailable on Thursday, September 17th so there will not be any badminton that night. Play will resume on Sunday, September 20th.

It’s that time of year to renew your Kamloops Badminton Association membership. The details can be found on the Memberships page along with a link to the Registration Form PDF. The fees have slightly increased from last year, mostly due to the additional night of play. If you have any questions then don’t hesitate to contact one of the Board of Directors.

The Kamloops Badminton Association has extended the number of days it hosts badminton to include Sunday from 7:30pm to 10:00pm at Pacific Way. The cost will be included in the new season membership fees. The Sunday night sessions will being this Sunday, September 6th.

Mark your calendars! The Kamloops Open has been scheduled for November 14-15 at the TRU Gymnasium. More information will be posted on the Tournaments page closer to the dates.

The school has booked the Pacific Way gym June 18, June 23 and June 25 so there will be no badminton for those days. Play will resume Tuesday, June 30th.

Another section we would like to add to this new website is a Gallery but we don’t have many photos. If you have any good ones of people playing at the club or in tournaments, email them to marketing@kamloopsbadminton.ca or burn them to a CD and give it to a board member the next time you see them. If you email them, please make sure they are under 1 MB so they are sent correctly.

The KBA will continue to host badminton every Tuesday and Thursday evening all summer long! There are usually not as many people coming so there will be lots of court time and is a good opportunity to play with people you don’t usually play with.
